Rules and Regulations
  • Each team will consist of 2 members.
  • Circuit design will be provided on the spot.
  • Datasheets for the IC’s will be provided.
  • Supplies will be provided to the participants.
  • Judgment will depend on the following criteria:
Circuit should be neat and tidy
Team that implements circuit in least required time
Circuit should be in working condition

  • The final decision will be undertaken by the judges.

Rules and Regulations
  • Each team will consist of 2 members.
  • Teams are allowed to use programming languages, i.e. C++ and Java
  • Teams will be judged on the following criteria:
Total marks contain 40% for speed and 60% for accuracy.
If a team who has solved the program in less code space per line as compared to the other team, they will be awarded more number of points.
If two or more teams have the same number of solved problems, then tie breaker will be in favor of the team with the earliest time of submission.
  • The final decision will be undertaken by the judges.
  • Entries will not be returned.

Circuit Designing

Rules and Regulations
  • Each team will consist of 2 members.
  • The contest consists of two rounds:
1.      Written  
2.      Practical Hardware Based
  • Duration for the first round will be 1 hour, and it will have 5-6 questions in it.
  • The questions can be asked from the following disciplines:
Basic circuit analysis
Analogue electronics circuits
Digital logic design or digital electronics

  • Supplies will be provided by the authorities.
  • Each team must bring their own calculators.
  • The final decision will be undertaken by the judges.

Technical Quiz

Rules and Regulations
  • Each team will consist of 3 members.
  • There will be three rounds:
  • First round (Verbal MCQ’s)
1.      Participants will be asked 20 verbal MCQ’s from certain electronics and electrical fields.
2.      Participants have to answer the question in 6 seconds, after which the next one will be asked.
3.      Only the top 8-10 teams will qualify for the next round.
·         Second round (Dumb Charades - Low Marks Round)
1.      In this round, one participant of each team will be called up on stage. That member will read the given cue and will have to tell their fellow participants about the object or device mentioned: by means of moves and gestures. Then the other two team members will have to guess that particular object.
2.      The participant on stage will not use his/ her voice while making gestures.
3.      Only the top 4-5 teams will qualify for the next round.
·         Third and Final Round (Time Speed Round)
1.      In this round, each team will be asked the maximum questions possible in one minute.
2.      Each question has only two options, i.e. true and false.
3.      The participants will have to answer the questions within 6 seconds. After that, the next questions will be asked.
·         The team with maximum number of correct responses to the questions will be declared the winner.
·         The final decision will be undertaken by the judges.

Best Scientific Idea

Rules and Regulations
·         Team should be comprised of minimum of 1 person or maximum of 3 persons.
·         The idea should be unique and should have been produced by the presenting team.
·         The ideas are supposed to be displayed using Microsoft office.
·         In case of copied/ plagiarized material, the team will be disqualified
·         Total 15 minutes will be provided to each team, out of which 7-8 minutes will be for presentation and the remaining 7 minutes will be for Question/ Answer session.
·         Questions will be asked by judges’ panel and audience.
·         The final decision will be undertaken by the judges.

Project Exhibition

·         Projects should be of Mechatronics/ Electronics.
·         Each team will consist of 4 members.
·         Every team has to bring their project along.
·         Participating teams will have to formally present their project.
·         Participants will be allowed to bring along any relevant material related to their project.
·         The final decision will be undertaken by the judges.

Robotic War

Rules and Regulations
·         Area of the ring will be specified by the authority at the time of the competition.
·         Robots can be controlled by remote control.
·         One robot from can be submitted from each team.
·         Weight of robot can be of maximum 10 kgs.
·         The robot which destroys the opposing robot will qualify for the next knock-out round.
·         The final decision will be undertaken by the judges.

Robotic Race

·         Robots should be controlled via artificial intelligence (No remote controlled machines).
·         Race tracks will be provided by the authorities.
·         Race track will be composed of hurdles and obstacles.

  • Track will have support for back line white line sensor robots.
    ·         Sensors will judge the accuracy.

    • Track of Robotic Race will be 1 foot in width.
